Blog Journal 5
I do not have much experience with blogging as I have never done it unless it was a requirement for a class. This semester is the first semester that I have had a class involving blogging; in fact I have two. I really do not like blogging as I do not really see the purpose of blogging as opposed to just writing and submitting a paragraph or a set of questions on canvas. So far in this process the only thing I feel I've gained is the ability to reflect on reading material or experiences and put it into words.
A Web 2.0 tool that I found interesting is the LiveBinder tool. This tool allows educators to basically create a public (or group) file that is organized and can reach a number of people electronically. As a future teacher, I could use this tool to organize online homework or readings in the form of a pdf or document and put them all into one file that my students would have access to view from home. This tool could even potentially be used on a class website for students to organize and submit their own work.
